Bad Customer Service

I ordered a new phone in July. By early September it no longer powered on. I requested a return. 2 weeks later, I received a shipping label. They want me to pay the shipping. Um, I'm sorry, but this is your defective product. You pay the shipping. On top of this, their shipping label went to my Spam folder. That's somewhat on me. However, I have checked my status on their website at least 3 times since the email went to my spam folder. The website did not give any indication that I had to do anything. This is my chat message with their agent. Keep in mind this was not my first chat, and this was not my first attempt at resolving the issue. The only things I have taken out are personal information: First, the TLDR version: I am going to check the status of the SIM card replacement Me 12:55 How does a sim card replacement solve this issue? I requested a replacement somewhere around September 6 - 8. I have checked on the mint website multiple times in the last few weeks with no status changes. Then, I found out I received an email 2 weeks ago to my spam folder. That email had instructions for sending my phone in. The instructions are basically just a shipping label (that I have to pay for) and a bunch of warnings about things that are not refunded. I don't know why I am being asked to pay for the shipping label, and I do not know why I have to provide a box for a defective product. Mint Mobile Ripped Me Off Bait And Switch Beware

Bought a SIM online worked fine. When it expired after 3 months went to Target to renew as they advertise all the time in St. Louis. I bought a SIM there and when I tried to activate it it would not let me keep my number. Now I had to pay DOUBLE the monthly fee to keep my number. And I have a SIM that is useless and Target wont return it and Mint wont refund my money. BAIT AND SWITCH Mint Mobile is a RIP OFF!!!! STAY AWAY !!!

Update Wrong SIM Card

Received correct SIM in 2 days, problem with activating that required a long chat to clear up but it's now working. So far so good.k

Phone not working

Not receiving calls. Not sending text. Not receiving text Having rebooted my phone and reset my system, I am not impressed. How about sending me a free phone that's set up to work for the rest of the year. Being YOUR SYSTEM said my phone was compatible when I contacted with you for a YEAR. Or a refund. The number is 806 437 ****

WRONG SIM CARD

Apparently the SIM card sent with my new Samsung card is for Ultra, not Mint mobil. After literally hours and numerous calls when consumer support decided to verify the SIM card sent with the new phone we found out why I kept getting connected with Ultra and not Mint. Hooray for Neal but so much time wasted and now I'm waiting for ANOTHER SIM card. I hope THIS one works!

Locked Phone

Through Mint I bought a Samsung to replace my LG 5 that stopped reading my Mint SIM card.I didn't buy a plan with the phone because I had one with the LG and thought it would transfer that data as well. When I tried a test call I was contacted to AN Ultra Mint (WHO??) technician who told me she would correct it, for me to hang up and call back in a few minutes. When I did the phone was locked.

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy 5G 7/10 to replace my LG5 that stopped reading my Mint SIM card. I didn't buy an additional plan because I already had one with the LG. When I tried to make a test call it went to Ultra Mobile (WHO???). The tech said she'd transfer the account to Mint, I needed to hang up and call back in a few minutes. A few minutes later I found it locked. Can't use it!

Will not activate past 45 days.

Mint mobile will not activate SIM kits past 45 days of purchase. This information is not presented well at all at the time of purchase and their SIM cards show activation dates well beyond that window. It is unacceptable for Mint Mobile to steal consumers money in this way. I paid for a 3 month kit for use after my current plan ended, and Mint Mobile has now effectively stolen my money with no recourse.

User's recommendation: Tell Ryan Reynolds that he is just as much a thief and scoundrel as any other cell service provider.

Reactivation

Hello, I had my plan set up to auto renew. However, I forgot to change my new credit card number. I did add my new number and reactivated my plan the day that my plan expired. How long will it take for my phone to work? I reactivated yesterday. Thank you Rhonda Cardona

Bad service, slow internet

I have been with Mint for 2 months. I have never had service this bad. My 5g with 4 bars, is so slow, that I can't even chat on their website. Phone call are dropped, messages not received. All this after buying their service and their phone.

One of the most common ones is apps that are running in the background. We suggest to fully close the app once you are done using it. We are not able to see which app that might have impacted, as this information is private, but you can easily check this on your device by going into cellular data settings. Data not working

couldnt get to talk to a representative or no option for that. I have unlimited data plan but it doesnt seem to work anymore. It works fine with Wifi of course but not on the road.

I had a year plan of mint mobile, talk text me and 3 gigs of data , never got more than two gigs, they didn't care, throughout the year I had about 30% texts never received or more the service is the worst service ever it reminded me of the eighties as the data was also mostly slow or didn't work at all, my advice works be (((DON'T EVER GET MINT MOBILE))) ---------- END ---------
