Depends on how this issue turns out

(By the way, the stars above mean nothing. There are so many categories set up to induce you to higher stars, however NONE OF IT MATTERS IF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILS TO GET YOU HELP.

Therefore I changed all the stars to one to accurately reflect this stupidity and time suck I'm going through.)
A. Started with a simple order. Chose a phone, explained the timing I was working with and that I was electing not to renew old inferior service, got a credit approval, followed the steps, was told I'd be called back. WAITED.
B.

REORDERED and more time was tacked on to the order. At this point my old service was DONE and i was WITHOUT A PHONE. Now we're 5 days in.
C. Received a cancellation of order request THE DAY BEFORE I WAS TO GET THE NEW PHONE.

REALLY?
D. Am told because I didn't verify THROUGH THE PHONE THAT I TOLD THEM I WAS HAVING TURNED OFF then the finance company cancelled.
E. Try to chat about it with "the chat box". These reps FAIL TO LISTEN OR READ even though that is their entire job.
F.

An hour later I have someone still telling me they don't know WHO I AM HAHAHAHAHAHA
OK. Have you heard enough?

Lookit, if you have plenty of time use this company. If not, don't even think about having them expedite something.
At this point I requested they put THEIR SERVICE on my old phone until they figure this out OR expedite that phone and still get it here in time.
And as we speak I'm waiting for a supervisor hahahahahaha

Mint: I’m assuming this is yet another mindless bot response. As stated, I’ve called you ad nauseum.

I’ve been through last count about 7 reps. You have my phone number, name rank and serial number.

And you can’t put someone with ability to solve this on the phone to call me? I can’t roll my hard enough on this one.

In all my years as a consumer and with all the other firms I've worked with in the past the customer service, or complete lack thereof, of Mint Mobile is by far the WORST I've EVER EXPERIENCED.

For more than TWO DAYS all day long after receiving my physical sim car I tried to activate and transfer my mobile number from Xfinity to Mint Mobile and was unsuccessful each and every attempt. So much so that it appears that Xfinity has LOCKED my account. This is NOT what one wants when attempting to switch to a new service provider.

Receiving phone calls

When using the temporary SIM card, why cant calls be received on MY phone number? It goes straight to voicemail. Considering my phone is ALWAYS used for my occupation, does this mean calls dont be received for seven days???

DANG! Worst customer service I have ever had.

From the moment I ported over to Mint, my phone was messed up and could not get data or calls. I called customer service over and over.

4 days later and my phone was sill not working. They kept promising to send me a new eSim. Escalated my issue to L2 three times, whatever L2 is. I think it means my issue is level2!

Which means my issue goes to a backroom in the Hall of Justice where Aquaman and Wonder Woman work on my issue to get it resolved. They failed. I took my phone over to a rival company. It took an HOUR working with Mint Mobile to get my account number and the port-out PIN.

Mint kept transferring me to someone new, then I had to explain my issue over and over to the new person. I finally threatened to sue them if they did not resolve my problem.

I got the Info. Worst customer service.

This has been THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE in my life. First, they stranded my overseas without phone service FOR SIX MONTHS.

Then, when I returned to the US, I discovered I had no domestic service either.

For nine months, while I paid for this service both domestically and internationally I had no service, I spent countless hours across these many months trying to solve this problem and all their call center staff did was ask me to do the same thing over and over again (reset the phone, slegar the phone settings, to turn the phone to airplane mode, etc. they are clueless.

Now, I have no service, they have refused to help, and I am stuck with no coverage. I can not even call my doctor to renew my prescriptions which I desperately need filled. They promised me a new eSIM card, and then didnt even do that.

Been using my phone as a paperweight for 6 months.

Absolutely the worst experience dealing with Mint Mobile.

Lucky they sol out for over a billion dollars, I guess. Too bad they can provide the service and stiff their customers.

You can see Mint Mobile’s comment. To recommend I speak to tech support to chat when they are part of the problem and not part of the solution is a waste of time.

And I have already wasted enough time on this. They could always contact me (just not by phone because my phone does not work,); they always say they will reach out by email but they never do, with one exception.

Bad Customer Service experience with Mint Mobile

Tried to switch to them; had problems installing eSIM. They opened a ticket to request a new eSIM. After waiting for almost 24 hours and being told again and again it was being escalated I decided the horrible customer service was not worthD the savings.

Resolved: Transfer existing number to mint

Subscribed a 3 lines plan with Mint recently as the previous carrier does not support eSIM on new phones. Requested to transfer existing numbers, 2 numbers transferred correctly in a very short time.

One number was still in limbo for 3 days, chatted/called customer service, even opened a trouble call ticket. Still the standard/scripted answer was in progress, wait for another 24-48 hours.

When CS reached the end of their script, they disconnect or hangup, and I was left with no hope of getting the case resolve soon. Double-checked with previous carrier, the transfer pin and account number provided were right, and their system shown the number was inactive already and advised me to contact Mint, which I did and same wait and see over and over again.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The last person I talk to agreed to send in an IT service order, if he could not resolve the problem.

He did try he listened to me about what I needed. he sent in the service order and repeated everything to me to make sure he had it all correct I wish all the employees at Mint were like him!

I have talked to seven or eight people at customer service. People say they will call back and they dont. Everyone says they have a solution to the problem and it does not get resolved. I cannot set up voicemail or get a text from meant to access my account. This is the second worst customer service I have ever received. To say Im disappointed is an understatement. At first, I trusted the mint customer service agents a number of times. Mint needs to hire people that know what theyre doing!!!

No service and says add more funds

My service stopped working Sunday March 17, 2024. Not only did it stop working but when I got on the app it said if I wanted to continue my service that I had to pay more! I had JUST bought a plan a couple days before this. Ive checked and the payment was taken out so yall have been paid. Ive called numerous times to customer service but all they do is give me another number to call. When I call, it says to leave a message and Ive done that but nobody has responded. The worst!!

This is the worst phone company I have ever dealt with. Ordered new phone and service with 2 days shipping.

4 days later called to find out where it was. They cancelled the order with no communication saying so because my shipping and billing address were not the same. I re-ordered it and paid for overnight shipping. I was on a 3 way call with Mint and credit card company to get it approved.

The Mint representative said I was all set. Stayed home all day so not to miss delivery. When it did not arrive, I checked email, etcetera with no contact from Mint. I called Mint and was told it was cancelled again for the same reason.

I asked to be transferred to a manager. I waited 8 minutes for the transfer and finally someone picked up...not a manager...and had to start all over with my name...

I received a locked phone from MInt Mobile on 9/21/23. I have been trying to get a refund since the next day. Here it is 3 months later and they still owe me $234. I have made numerous calls to customer service and have been told the "back office" would contact me. I never heard from them!!
